Project Description

The Kentucky Correctional Institute for Women, located in Shelby County, KY, is on of the two state prisons for women in Kentucky. Opened in 1938, it houses all levels of inmates, including death row inmates, and can accommodate 726 inmates. Koch Corporation installed detention windows made by Hopes Windows. The architect on this project was Patrick D. Murphy Company.
