Koch Corporation is a leading specialty contractor in the FAA Airport Sound Mitigation Noise Reduction Quieter Home program using its own in-house sound mitigation team.


Project Description

The Jones Payne Group assisted the greater Baton Rouge Airport District in developing and implementing architectural/acoustical standards for noise reduction in compliance with the Federal Aviation Administration’s Quieter Home Program around the Baton Rouge Airport. From 1991 – 2006 Jones Payne Company planned and oversaw the sound mitigation of over one thousand homes. The project was typically completed in 100 home sections. Koch Corporation has also been the installer of the sound mitigation products under the direction of C & S Companies as well as C. Kell-Smith & Associates. During various phases of the sound abatement, Koch has installed vinyl windows by Larson, Graham Architectural Products, Milgard, and Republic Windows & Doors. Prime doors used by Koch’s expert installers came from Door Systems, Inc. and PEM. Storm doors were made by Larson,
