The Courthouse is once again a centerpiece of downtown, a place we can all take pride in.

Project Description

The 32 million dollar Fayette County Courthouse renovation project resulted in restoring the original splendor of the 120-year-old Lexington, KY building, as well as bringing in elements that reflect the advanced technology and functionality of today.  This once vacant Richardson Romanesque former courthouse has been transformed to become an event venue and home to a restaurant, bar and office space.  Messer Construction, the general contractor of the project, chose Strong Tower Construction to provide expertise and skill in installing Fire-Rated Aluminum Framed Storefronts, Aluminum-Framed Entrances and Storefronts and two Fireframes ClearFloor® fire-rated glass floor systems from Technical Glass Products. These durable, non-slip floors were strategically centered on floor 2 and floor 3, directly below the beautiful, restored dome above.

The extensive restoration has resulted in several prestigious awards such as
