Koch Corporation is a leading specialty contractor in the FAA Airport Sound Mitigation Noise Reduction Quieter Home program using its own in-house sound mitigation team.


Project Description

The Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport was originally opened in 1942 by the United States Army Air Forces. In 1949 it was approved for use as a civil airport. In 2012, the airport averaged 172 flights per day. Koch Corporation performed the necessary sound abatement measures on several of the FAA Quieter Homes Program phases under the direction of C & S Companies. Vinyl windows by Sound Control Systems, and Graham Architectural Products, aluminum acoustical windows by Peerless Products, prime doors by PEM, and storm doors by Larson.
