Key West International Airport

Koch Corporation is a leading specialty contractor in the FAA Airport Sound Mitigation Noise Reduction Quieter Home program using its own in-house sound mitigation team.

Project Description

Given the fact that Key West Florida is an island, 4 miles long, by 2 miles wide, and that there is an average of 258 flights per day in and out of the airport, noise reduction in the surrounding neighborhood was a necessity! Koch Corporation worked under the direction of THC, Inc. on the Key West Quieter Home program. The Key West sound mitigation projects included aluminum acoustical windows by St. Cloud Window Company, vinyl acoustical windows by Graham Architectural Products, prime doors by PEM, Door Systems, LLC and JB Sash, sliding Doors by TM Windows & Doors, and hurricane shutters by Folding Shutter Company.
