Lambert-St. Louis Airport

Koch Corporation is a leading specialty contractor in the FAA Airport Sound Mitigation Noise Reduction Quieter Home program using its own in-house sound mitigation team.

Project Description

Lambert- St. Louis International Airport is an international airport serving the greater St. Louis area. It is the largest and busiest airport in the state, with over 250 daily flights to domestic and international locations. In 2011, nearly 13 million passengers traveled through Lambert. It is understandable why the FAA and the airport decided to focus on the surrounding areas for the Quieter Home Program. Koch Corporation has been the window, door and HVAC installer on phases of the Quieter Home Program for the St. Louis International Airport, working under the direction of C & S Companies, as well as the Michael Roth & Associates architectural firm. While Koch was installing the windows, doors and HVAC in the historical section of the greater St. Louis airport region, Kolbe & Kolbe wooden windows were installed. While replacing the vinyl windows, Koch Corporation used acoustic vinyl windows from Republic Windows and Doors and from Harvey Industries. Prime doors were from PEM and the storm doors were made by Larson.
