Koch Corporation is a leading specialty contractor in the FAA Airport Sound Mitigation Noise Reduction Quieter Home program using its own in-house sound mitigation team.


Project Description

Laredo International Airport is a city-owned, public use airport and averages 158 aircraft operations a day. Under the direction of W.D. Schock Company, the FAA Quieter Homes Program provided sound mitigation around the airport. Koch Corporation was the installer on several phases of this initiative and they installed aluminum acoustical windows by Peerless Products, storm doors by Larson, Sound Control Systems and Door Systems, Inc. Sliding glass doors by Armaclad, and prime doors by PEM were also installed.
