Koch Corporation is a leading specialty contractor in the FAA Airport Sound Mitigation Noise Reduction Quieter Home program using its own in-house sound mitigation team.
For more than 50 years, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) has played an integral role in the growth of Anchorage and the State of Alaska. Because of the role this airport plays in the growth potential of Alaska, and given the location of the state of Alaska, expansion of the airport and its flight patterns is critical for this growth to continue. Since 2001, ANC has been working diligently to insulate houses and businesses affected by the airport noise. C & S Companies has managed some of the phases that Koch has been involved with in the past, and more recently, C. Kell-Smith & Associates is managing the Quieter Homes Program in Anchorage presently. Koch Corporation has been the contractor installing the windows, doors, HVAC and electrical upgrades on many of the phases in ANC’s noise mitigation initiative. Graham Architectural Products, Republic Windows & Doors, and Larson are the suppliers that have provided the vinyl acoustical windows that have been installed. Storm doors have been procured from Larson, and prime doors by PEM and Door Systems, Inc.
